El pasado mes de mayo, Guadalajara —una de las ciudades más cinematográficas de Latinoamérica— fue sede de la vibrante ceremonia del International Guadalajara Film Awards (IGFA), celebrada en el célebre Teatro María Teresa, un recinto histórico que ofreció el escenario ideal para rendir homenaje al cine independiente de todo el mundo.
Durante tres días, el evento reconoció a voces creativas audaces mediante una programación dinámica de proyecciones y una ceremonia de premiación que destacó lo mejor en documental, ficción, animación y otras categorías.
